H.O.R.S.E. Poker Tips
With the popularity of H.O.R.S.E. continuing to grow many of you I know are starting to learn how to play this poker game. The rules are simple, the difficult part is learning how to deal with playing five poker games at once. You need to be able to switch gears very quickly and you’ll need to know how to play all five of the poker games played in H.O.R.S.E. Poker to see any success. I have some tips that I’ve compiled over the past weekend after playing a few long H.O.R.S.E. Poker sessions on www.FullTiltPoker.net. You can use these tips to help improve your HORSE Poker game immediately and you should see more success if you follow through with the tips below.
* My first tip for you is learn how to cheat on Ultimate Bet before you even begin to play H.O.R.S.E. Poker you should learn the rules and some basic strategy for each of the five poker games you’ll need to play. If you play HORSE Poker without understanding how to play one of the games then you’ll be forfeiting your blinds while sitting at the table during that game and that will take away from your winnings.
* The competition in H.O.R.S.E. at PokerStars is generally much tougher then the competition you’ll find at an Omaha or Holdem game. For the most part only experienced poker players play H.O.R.S.E. Poker and although more people are starting to play the game I’d say the majority of players are still tough poker players. As the games becomes more mainstream in the poker world I’m sure the competition will begin to get softer, but right now you need to assume the opponents at your table are experienced players.
* If you’re playing H.O.R.S.E. Poker over the internet most interent poker rooms such as absolute poker cheat allow you to take notes during the game. When you’re playing a mixed poker game I always suggest taking notes of your opponents. You should take notes about which opponents are tough in certain games and which opponents are weak in certain games. Once you know which players are weak in certain games then you can take advantage of the information you gathered and start playing against them in the games there weak in. Most online players don’t take notes, but if you’re going to be playing at the same table for a nice session I would spend the time taking notes. It’s too hard to remember everything in HORSE Poker since the game is switching every time around the table.
* If you haven’t played H.O.R.S.E. Poker you cam play for play money on PokerStars.net and a few other online poker rooms or you could play in some small buy-in tournaments. Either way I suggest that you start off with a small bankroll for H.O.R.S.E. Poker to make sure you like the game before committing more of your bankroll to the game. It’s a great game and more exciting because you get to play five poker games at once, but it’s definitely not for everyone and you need to see if it’s for you.
